Ukraine just blasted Russia's largest grain export port with American-funded weapons on the same day declassified documents revealed the FBI spent years branding anyone who questioned Biden family corruption in Ukraine as a Russian propagandist.
Two stories, one thread: the same Ukraine nexus that the FBI suppressed scrutiny of before the 2020 election is now the beneficiary of blank-check American support in a war that's blowing up global grain supplies and costing Americans at the grocery store.
According to HotAir, a "massive" Ukrainian drone and missile strike hit the port of Novorossiysk overnight, damaging two major grain export terminals and striking the last big Russian naval base on the Black Sea. Ukraine's General Staff and Security Service confirmed the joint operation damaged two frigates, the Admiral Makarov and Admiral Essen, a Buyan-M-class corvette, and the Vasily Bykov patrol ship. The attack ruptured water pipelines and forced the city into a state of emergency. Russia's agriculture ministry said it was redirecting cargo flows to Baltic and Caspian ports, citing "current logistical constraints" — a euphemism for Ukrainian missiles hitting the infrastructure.
Russia is the world's top grain exporter. Every strike on its export terminals tightens global supply and drives up food costs for Americans already struggling with inflation. American farmers, meanwhile, compete against subsidized foreign grain in a market Washington keeps destabilizing with no endgame in sight.
And the money trail? Follow it. The weapons Ukraine used didn't grow on trees. U.S. taxpayers bought them. Defense contractors profited from them. Nobody in Washington has defined the American interest, the cost ceiling, or the exit strategy — the bare minimum before spending a dime abroad.
Meanwhile, the Daily Caller reported that newly declassified documents expose an FBI operation codenamed "Round River" that secretly labeled journalists, Trump administration officials, and members of Congress as "conduits" of Russian disinformation for raising concerns about Biden family corruption and Ukraine. Former Attorney General Bill Barr, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Rep. Jim Jordan, former Rep. Devin Nunes, OAN's Chanel Rion, and journalist John Solomon were smeared as instruments of a Russian psyop. The FBI classified Republicans as perpetrators and Democrats — including George Soros, John Kerry, Victoria Nuland, Obama, and Hillary Clinton — as victims of the supposed influence campaign.
Deputy Assistant Director Nikki Floris, who ran the task force, bragged in September 2020 that she was "basically running a shadow government inside the FBI right now," according to previously declassified documents. She also moved to kill a tip about Chinese election interference before it could move up the chain — then celebrated the retraction with "AAAAAAAH SNAPS!!!!"
FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed the task force has been shuttered and an internal review is ongoing, writing that the bureau is investigating whether the Foreign Influence Task Force "used information learned from the Round River assessment to undermine or influence ongoing investigations by only focusing on the subset" of sources involving the Bidens.
The same permanent Washington class that branded Biden-Ukraine questions as disinformation is the class writing blank checks for this war. They told you raising the issue was treason. Now they want you to pay for the escalation without asking questions. The question isn't whether Ukraine can hit a port. It's who authorized the FBI to cover up the corruption, who's profiting from the war, and when anybody in Washington will have to answer for either.
