Hunter Biden just admitted the game is rigged. In a lengthy post on X, the president’s son declared that “an American oligarchy” intentionally divides the country because it “profits from the fight.” The stake for ordinary Americans is simple: confirmation that the elites see our division as a business model.
Why it matters is the sheer, staggering irony. Biden wrote that this oligarchy has “captured our government, denied our healthcare, looted our treasury, and saddled us with crippling debt.” He’s right. But coming from a man whose family has sat at the apex of that captured government for half a century, the confession is a spectacle. He called for a “New New Deal,” an AI dividend for all Americans, and an end to endless wars—talking points that sound like they belong in a tavern of working men, not from a man who leveraged his father’s name for foreign millions.
The Daily Caller reported that Biden recently sat down with streamer Nick Fuentes for a lengthy interview, where both men found common ground on the weaponization of financial and tech infrastructure against dissenters. Biden revealed he was “debanked” before ever being charged with a crime. “I lost every bank account,” he said. Fuentes echoed the grievance, arguing that being stripped of platform access feels like being “deprived of a basic civil right or being able to participate in society.”
When Fuentes attempted to distance himself from his public reputation, Biden pushed back, telling him, “That very well may be true, but you gave them a lot of ammunition.” Yet, when Fuentes criticized Israeli influence over American foreign policy, the conversation touched on the exact kind of bipartisan failure the establishment refuses to audit. Biden’s own post railed against elites “playing God with our very existence,” but pointed the finger solely at Donald Trump, claiming Trump and his family are “robbing us blind.”
Biden is half-right. The oligarchy profits from the fight, and the system is looted. But the grift is bipartisan. The same permanent Washington that debanked him and debanked Fuentes is the apparatus his own family helped build and maintain. He closed his post with a recovery mantra: “You can’t heal what you won’t name.” True enough. But naming the disease is only step one when your own name is on the prescription pad.
