Heard much blabbering about the "Northern Sea Route" 10 years ago. A whole lot of clucking when 19 commercial vessels traversed it one year, followed by 5 the following year. Weather is always a crap shoot, as evidenced by this year's Antarctic temperatures, the all time lowest in recorded history.
