A 62-year-old Pennsylvania school bus aide was arrested last week after allegedly molesting a 14-year-old special needs girl on a school bus — and the surveillance footage shows it wasn't a momentary lapse. It was a sustained, repeated predation that should have been stopped before it started.
Ali Khan faces charges of endangering the welfare of a child, corruption of minors, and indecent assault, among other offenses, according to the Bensalem Township Police Department. He directed the girl to a specific seat, then draped himself across her while securing her seatbelt, touching her inappropriately for an extended period of time on two consecutive days — Wednesday, July 29, and Thursday, July 30 — as she rode to Bensalem High School's extended school year program. Police say the footage also shows Khan engaging in sexual conduct and using his cellphone to photograph and record the girl.
The girl's parents contacted police on July 30. Khan was arrested shortly after. He's currently held at the Bucks County Correctional Facility after failing to post bail — Fox News reported bail was set at $500,000, requiring $50,000 to secure release; the New York Post framed it as a flat $50,000 bail failure.
