French President Emmanuel Macron has defended his government and its response to the Covid-19 pandemic, saying that he laments France's "incessant hunt for errors," adding that such criticism is counterproductive during a crisis.
The people must always be watchful of government. A much preferred approach for Macron and other leaders would be to govern better rather than blaming the citizens--the people for whom you work.
Brazenly disregarding the will of the people is going to be the global "new normal" going forward it seems.
