The big gaming controversy of the week (so far) kicked off in a big way on Sunday when YouTuber PewDiePie dropped an ugly racial slur in an angry outburst during a PUBG livestream. That prompted Firewatch developer Campo Santo to disassociate itself with the streamer by filing a DMCA takedown notice against all of his Firewatch content. And as day follows night, that in turn has resulted in a thorough and ongoing review-bombing campaign against the game on Steam.Firewatch was released in early 2016 and its overall rating, across well over 25,000 Steam user reviews, is "very positive." (And so it should be, I would add.) But recent reviews are "mixed"—industry parlance for "bad"—and it's not hard to figure out why.

Is there a term for this tactic yet? This "fill something with leftist shit or point out that a dev is a tranny or something then dismiss all criticism as 'review bombing' or 'trolling'" thing? It's THE go-to advertising focus for movies and games lately, how is it there's not a term for it?

This sick fuck is trying to sue them over this piece, too. Pedophile who pulls the tranny card for easy access to victims and gets businesses shut down by getting litigious when women won't touch his nutsack, absolutely disgusting excuse for a human being, and what's fucked is there's a solid chance he'll WIN this lawsuit. Can't wait for his pedo charges to come to trial and this sick fuck finally rots in a cell where he belongs.

"employed in a post-Nazi Germany context by neo-Nazis, other far-right groups, and some occult subcultures, such as Satanism" wat? So is this another "leftists hijacked and had their admin buddies ban any dissent on an article to push a narrative" thing? The sonnenrad is an OLD symbol, much older than "post-nazi germany" and in fact you can find literal set-in-stone proof that it was in use IN germany before Hitler rose to power. Why lie about a thing like this? Bizarre.

Commercials for an ultraviolent political satire called “The Hunt” have reportedly been pulled after the El Paso and Dayton mass shootings. The movie features “elites” stalking and killing “deplorables,” a term Hillary Clinton called supporters of Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign. “The violent, R-rated film from producer Jason Blum’s Blumhouse follows a dozen …

"satire" oh nothing to see here then amirite? If something even half this blatant came out with a right-wing slant it'd be "antisemitic" and "unacceptable in current year!!" no matter what was said about it. Lefties can go on and on, outright threaten and even perpetrate political violence, and "lmao it's just satire brah"/"the killer didn't represent others with similar views" is enough. There's a not small chunk of the US population actively preparing for a civil war, openly announcing their intent, and because they're communists that espouse the views that actors and ecelebs spout, it's a-okay and you're "an anti-free-speech asshole" or something for pointing at actionable threats that led to mass killings and saying "yeah, there's a definite connection there" nowadays. reminder: The Ohio shooter was a CTH regular, talked exactly like those people to a T and spread the same propaganda. What did reddit do in response to the shooting? Finally quarantine that subreddit after years of reports both to reddit and the FBI. Because it would look bad on reddit NOW since a poster from there went on a shooting spree. For years tens of thousands of people just like that shooter had been spreading the same rhetoric he subscribed to on that sub and reddit KNEW it, did nothing about it until it became dangerous to their "we're totes a platform, not a publisher tee-hee" bullshit. The families of the victims should sue reddit and the "making 7 figures spreading violent communist rhetoric" CTH podcast folks, too.

Any of you ever sat through an episode of any recent adult swim show? The jellies (iirc, could be a different title) has an episode about BLM and the evil white police killing innocent blacks is mentioned over and over like the most hamhanded conditioning you've ever seen. At one point there's a black power symbol done like the bat signal and a bunch of literal klansmen show up because their hatred for nonwhites is just so much stronger than their will to live (it's one of those overly complex 'stories' that's all nonsense, just serves to confuse the viewer so the ideas implanted in the story don't have that pesky 'logical thinking' barrier to contend with, advertising strategy now in a lot of media) and there's this 3 minute section where a bunch of random rappers murder the klansmen in superjail-tier brutal fashion. Raw "killing racists is a-okay, they're not people like us" propaganda. Remind me again, how often is it an actual racist is labelled "racist" these days? What it actually comes down to is "anybody we declare an acceptable target is less than human and killing them any brutal way possible is fine" as usual. Of course nobody ever writes an article about the "normalization of violence" in lefty circles.

The parents of one of the Stonewall Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Florida happened to be in El Paso on Saturday.

What a coincidence. Aren't your odds of being struck by lightning several times greater than you ever having even a thrice removed connection to a single shooting event like this? An awful lot of mass shooting victims and family of victims tend to become very profitable in the gun grab political arena and come within spitting distance of/be involved in another shooting shortly after. It's so bizarre.

For more than a year, Adam Schiff has been hopping to all the TV stations claiming the existence of a vast conspiracy between Trump and Russia.

Recently got labelled a bot by two blue checkmarks on twitter for calling a "proud and devoted" Israeli nationalist out. Apparently there's nothing wrong with somebody standing proudly by "their nation's" flag, even when they live in another country and spout racism against the host nation's people, he insisted my "German in the 40's proudly heiling by a nazi flag" comparison was totally unrelated because reasons or something and then called me a bot when I explained that it's not "his nationality" I take issue with, but his Israeli nationalism. Some people just can't be reasoned with.
