Wasn't it Tim the one who told us about how BLM activists were complaining that Antifa had taken over their organization?

What the fuck, Tim?

I gotta say, its weird to me that these police keep doing what the local politicians say.

Like, where's the police departments that say, "Ordering us to pull back and allow riots to continue is in illegal order, and will therefore not be followed"?

At 20:50, the story reminds me of a book excerpt I've seen posted a few times:

"The more I argued with them, the better I came to know their dialectic. First they counted on the stupidity of their adversary, and then, when there was no other way out, they themselves simply played stupid. If all this didn't help, they pretended not to understand, or, if challenged, they changed the subject in a hurry, quoted platitudes which, if you accepted them, they immediately related to entirely different matters, and then, if again attacked, gave ground and pretended not to know exactly what you were talking about. Whenever you tried to attack one of these apostles, your hand closed on a jelly-like slime which divided up and poured through your fingers, but in the next moment collected again. But if you really struck one of these fellows so telling a blow that, observed by the audience, he couldn't help but agree, and if you believed that this had taken you at least one step forward, your amazement was great the next day. (((That person))) had not the slightest recollection of the day before, he rattled off his same old nonsense as though nothing at all had happened, and, if indignantly challenged, affected amazement; he couldn't remember a thing, except that he had proved the correctness of his assertions the previous day."

You don't put out a fucking GRAND JURY INDICTMENT over a stolen cell phone.

This situation should look familiar to anyone who payed attention to how they went after Julian Assange.

Protip: The reason leftists are so upset and can't say his name is the one key narrative that this story disrupts.

The narrative: Black people live their lives at risk every day from evil police. They live their whole lives under a sword of Damocles because of their skin color.

The reality: Not only do cops shoot more unarmed white people than black people (per capita), but white people live every day of OUR lives under the ACTUAL threat of random negro violence. (if you have the bad fortune to live near them)

I remember playing SimCity... 3000, I think, back when I was younger. I don't think that game had seasonally adjusted power consumption for your city, but even then, WHEN I WAS TWELVE, I was sitting there thinking to myself, "I should maybe have one more power plant than what I actually need. Seems like a good idea."

Gotta love the mind game here.

Trump: I'm gonna win New York

Media: Laughter suddenly becomes nervous

Gotta point out, the idea that a Trump/Biden debate would be a good show is highly unlikely.

Now don't get me wrong, its absolutely something that SHOULD happen precisely BECAUSE democrats have been hiding his dementia. However, if such a debate actually took place, it would be 100% pure and distilled "Feel-bad TV". More than "Mike Tyson vs a toddler", Biden has gotten to the point where it would be more like "Godzilla vs a Trailer Park" as you watch doddering old Biden trying to keep up.

It would be to the point where Trump would actually have to hold back so that the whole event doesn't give people the impression of elder abuse.

Something funny just occurred to me.

Tim's always citing that quote from Bernie Sanders about how, "Open borders is a far right proposal" as proof of how Bernie used to be more reasonable on immigration.

But then, in spite of what this statement says about Bernie's (former) view on immigration, its still a lie. Corporate interests are not "far right". They're part of the corrupt establishment the same as both party structures.

Literally the only reason he ever called it "Far right" was to deflect away from the fact that its democratic politicians AND constituents that push for open borders, while the corrupt republican establishment is merely complicity with that goal in order to maintain false credibility with their own constituents.

So the "American Conservative comes out saying that maybe we should let feelings matter more than facts, and Tim's take is, "Something something leftward lurges" in spite of everything else happening with the actual american people.

Protip: This is why people refer NOT to "Trump vs democrats" but rather "Trump vs the establishment".

Its easy mental shorthand to think in terms of political parties, but even the people who espouse that view still realize that MANY REPUBLICAN ESTABLISHMENT FIGURES hold views that are the opposite of their own constituents, and more in line with democrats.

This is the establishment.
