This all sounds really neat, new toys for the Air Force and all. But think about the not so nice folks realizing just how easy it is to convert a plane to an UAV and how much damage they could do by loading one up with fuel, explosives or napalm, taking off from a local airport or even back-road and then crashing it somewhere crowded.
A Cessna 142 (a common small plane) carries 42 gallons of fuel and another 369 pounds of payload, m your 5 pound payload drone seem a bit wimpy doesn't it.
Love the title and it has some good information too.
All but number four can be easily solved by not allowing them in your home.
If you have to use Windows (#2) for some reason don't let it on your Internet connection. Use something else on-line and move the information that you need to and from Windows on a USB key. If you have to let Windows on line for some purpose consider getting a "burner" copy that you can clean your information off between uses.
Some folks you like better dead, funniest stuff I've read in a couple weeks.
We need a Gab mirror of this one.
The right will never accomplish anything but slowing the oncoming disaster unless they can find the guts to deal with being called bad names.
Once they get enough cameras in place it is going to be hard to go anywhere without it being recorded, tracked and added to their files forever.
Snowden also said: “The greatest danger still lies ahead, with the refinement of artificial intelligence capabilities, such as facial and pattern recognition.
“An AI-equipped surveillance camera would be not a mere recording device, but could be made into something closer to an automated police officer.”
Wouldn't something like this be handy around the house?
Long but worth reading and talking to your kids about.
"Love is a decision, not a feeling; an act of the will, not of the body. Unless and until our young people re-learn that reality, they have little or no chance of making marriage work for them. What's more, it's largely our fault for having failed to show them that, by example rather than our words, as they were growing up."
I can't improve on this snip from the article.
"There is so much stupid here that it is hard to know where to begin."
