It's East New York. Status quo ante. Nothing to see here.
It exists. Next time, don't ask scientists named Eugene, Poindexter, and Portfellow.
It was only supposed to be an alliance that kept the Soviets at bay. The Germans coasted on our military budget for 70 years. They grew to like their social benefits that they could afford because of that. Now they're butt-hurt that Trump is telling them to pay at the same moment the AfD is gaining seats because Germans are rejecting Merkel's immigration policies.
Calm and reason won't bring the idiots back down to earth. They're too radicalized. Their energy only escalates to violence. We've already seen it happening. They are a perfect echo of the Maoist Red Guards from the Cultural Revolution. If they are not stopped now, they will kill more if they get more power or absence of a response.
They should. Then they can split the Left and keep the Democrats from winning seats. The Democrats need to win no more seats and in fact must lose all they have.
I suspect this comes down more to the effect of the coronavirus than any backlash against Nike per se. Some of us vote with our pocketbooks, but that doesn't seem to be widely practiced among American consumers.
thy name shall be "one nut."
Teddy Roosevelt broke up the Trusts (monopolies), stopped child labor, started the FDA, the national park service, built the Panama Canal, and won a Nobel Peace Prize for negotiating an end to the Russo-Japanese War. Later, as champion of the Progressive (Bull Moose) Party he pushed for Social Security, a 40-hr workweek, and many other reforms that we take for granted today.
This is the guy whose statue they want to rip down? His face is literally on Mt. Rushmore; are they gonna try to dynamite Mt. Rushmore, too?
The BLM and Antifa terrorists won't stop until they are physically stopped. The government is allowing it to happen, which means when Americans rise up they will go down, too. That's what happens when elites and their lackeys in government play games with the citizenry.
It's really no threat. The publishing industry has been shedding jobs for the past two decades. I know a half dozen in NY that were laid off and are only brought back for occasional contract work. They're desperate and will take anything. In fact, the only reason that the publishing industry hasn't been hit harder is directly down to the popularity of JK Rowling's books. So "cancelling" her is tantamount to "cancelling" what remains of that industry. In other words, the publishing staff in the story are fucking stupid.
