Disingenuous framing by the author in an otherwise reasonably neutral article. Why use the word "merely"? Because it implies they are denying a larger truth. Why use the word "victim"? Because it implies the target is reacting emotionally. Why claim they say "guilty of nothing" when only specific allegations are unproven? Because it is an absurd straw man.
