The fact that they're calling the death of the internet "cyber-covid" really lends to the fact that this is definitely going to happen one day -- maybe soon.
I don't know, it sounds like propaganda to me.
They sound more like activists to me.
That story of the guy talking to his friend is pretty sad, but kind of relatable in a way.
I've been failing horribly the last few years, because of inner conflicts about what I want (mostly to be loved by people, or popular, vs being good). It may not be inaccurate to say that I've been failing for much longer, even. I think fiction probably harms more than it helps at the end of the day, because giving incorrect ideas about "Mr. Perfect" to women isn't all it does; it also gives us desires for paths in life that aren't meant for us by showing us idealistic nonsense, which stresses us out and can robs us of the life we should be living by making us accept "nothing less." That's not all, either. We also all know how advertisers make it a point to play on our weaknesses to make us desire their products, even to the point of using sexuality to do it. And so, we're left dissatisfied with life because nothing is ever enough with consumerism, and/or because we're led to believe that something we can't have yet is all that's standing between us and happiness. Either way, the vanity of it all -- unable to actually satisfy life -- eats away at us because none of it gives us any meaning. We're basically raised into this, not only because of McDonald's appealing to children with happy meal toys, but also because of lies they tell you in school like "you're amazing, you can do whatever you want with life." It's like our society is built on this -- and maybe that's exactly it, considering how companies have been buying cheap, Chinese slave-labor for decades to maximize profits. The love of money is at the root of all kinds of evil, indeed.
Lately I've been trying to better understand 1 John 2: 15-16, which says:
"Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world -- the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life -- comes not from the Father but from the world."
I think seeing stuff like this helps put things into perspective.
Okay listen I'm just saying that President Biden and Vice Trump would be absolutely hilarious.
Dude... That's awful -- the history of the lotus eaters.
Honestly, even if Biden really does become president, my attitude is God's will be done, and to be at peace with it, whatever comes.
If this all turns around and Trump does ultimately keep the presidency, my attitude won't change overall, aside from maybe a smile.
I think we're in for a ride either way.
Call me a puritan or whatever, but I'm not going to lose any sleep over the idea that crude anime and crudeness in anime won't go unchecked anymore.
Now if only we got rid of the crudeness in western media.
I can't wait for them to realize that evolution is false entirely, lol.
Isn't Vaush the guy who was arguing with Destiny, or am I mistaken?
