SAN ANTONIO - During the daily COVID-19 update Monday evening, San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg lamented "our hospitals are under severe stress" after announcing 565 new cases of the coronavirus in Bexar County, making for a total of 20,213 cases. The mayor also announced 11 new deaths, explaining five of the deaths were at home, while the other were being treated at local hospitals. The current death toll in Bexar County is now 195.
