It was thought VR would be as common as televisions, but despite improvements it is yet to take off.

The second half of 2019 was massive for VR adoption. Six degrees of freedom VR is finally affordable for normal people and game cafes are starting to pop up with VR headsets. The Oculus Quest and Valve Index have reduced friction and increased quality. And more importantly than all of that is that there are finally good games available with lots more rolling out in 2020. 2020 is going to be the year of VR.

Workers rejoice. The minimum wage is set to go up in 72 US jurisdictions in 2020. The increases will be in 24 states and 48 cities and counties.

"David Howell, a professor of economics and public policy at the New School, told CNN back in July that half of the projected jobs lost are held by teenagers, who could find other work more in-line with a career track."

If that were actually a possibility wouldn't teens already be doing that instead of working at McDonald's for minimum wage?

The Senate, courts, and presidency are all controlled by officials who no longer reflect the will of the majority, leading to distorted policy.

I believe the votes, not the rigged polls this author quotes. The government does represent me and what I voted for. Leave your city bubble maybe you'd realize that the rest of us are getting exactly what we voted for. We believe in being able to defend ourselves. We believe in not killing children. We believe that money for special benefits has to come from somewhere and running that money through the government just means less of it gets to us in the end. So just because Democrats who don't understand how things fundamentally and work aren't getting what they want, don't say our government doesn't work.

The viral video shows two men scaling the border wall. Immigration officials said they apprehended the individual who made it to the U.S.

It is nice to see the border fence working well to slow people enough that they can be detected and caught. It is funny that they go to great lengths to say it it's not Trump's border wall. It was planned years ago they say. But despite inaction for almost a decade the project mysteriously got funding last year. I'm sure that had nothing to do with Trump. ;-)

There's a newer way of saying yes, and to younger people, it feels more polite.

I don't think I've ever seen someone type KK inside or outside of business--at least not without one more k. Is this really a thing?

Spurred by continuous, high-profile shootings in Washington and around the nation, the legislation comes after a multiyear effort to tighten state gun laws.

Buying 1,000 rounds of ammo worries them. I wonder if they would be worried by the size of other bulk packages of items from Costco. Large quantities of ammo are bought for the same reason as buying large quantities of toilet paper. It is cheaper and you'll use it eventually.
