Yesterdays Kyle:" now having said all that I still
(04:54) wouldn't have voted for this bill you can't do it"
also Kyle: How dare this guy oppose it, he is basically letting people suffer by voting exactly the same way I said I would yesterday;
then trump roasts that guy and it passes. not a peep about the politics, now its about the corporations but from a different angle.

pop culture critic who focuses mainly on anime; best part, she actually has a brain
please read the gulag archipelago, I'm well aware you are woke on communism but it is one of the most important book of its century and contributed to the collapse of the soviets and if you want a more personal and fascinating type of book go with some Dostoevsky (the brothers Karamazov or something like Crime and Punishment)
i dont think satire of jesus should be banned or whatever for the same reason satire of Muhammad shouldn't be censored
the other problem is that foreign investment can actually ruin a developing economy in the long term by essentially destroying local markets.
for example a foreign donation of enough food so that everybody has a free meal will cause local agriculture and the workers therein collapse financially and then they become reliant on investment and donations.
This also opens the possibilities for other nations like china to buy up vital infrastructure projects and create a whole new and comparably scary neo-colonialism situation but with more direct economic leverage than with previous iterations of so called colonialism
The solution is not as simple as help poor nations and poor nations wont have problems and that's why I think many scientists could not find a consensus on this topic

1:30 He literally said weight and health are not the same thing
if i am to believe that then it would imply that you can be healthy even if you are over 500 kilograms when its very clear that this isn't the case.
yes, there is a lot of variance between humans and some people are going to be healthier at higher weights than others but going as far as saying that they arent linked AT ALL or that people shouldn't give advice like trying to adopt healthy and sustainable lifestyles because its contributing to weight stigma is laughably wrong (I had to undergo many lifestyle changes to improve my health)
I like the idea of creating a positive support for people who are typically affected by "Weight Discrimination" because there are healthy and respectful ways of addressing this that motivates patients to take control over their health in cooperation with healthcare professionals and nutritionists in cases like obesity but telling people that health and weight arent linked and telling people that its wrong to suggest to someone in need of better health to explore every treatable and preventable possibility (including healthy lifestyle choices) is almost antithetical to science as we know it.
with every patient's case their will be nuance but anybody who is literate on medical research and intellectually honest will tell you that a higher weight means you are far more likely to experience a trove of health complications, especially in western societies like the united states.
