Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot announced on Saturday that she is instructing the police superintendent to cite, arrest and jail all non-compliant residents who permit gatherings and parties in their residence. Failing to comply with the stay-at-home orders and maintain social distancing will no longer be met with a warning. Police are authorized to deliver citations,…

Before writing what I want to write, I have to say sometimes I'm an idiot.

A couple of years ago, I found a newspaper dated October 31, 1939 in my parents house (which had also been my paternal grandparents house). The headline was about little skirmishes from espionage groups from both Germany and France along their border. There was also an item of a shakeup in Mussolini's government, and the hope was this would help keep Italy out of the war. Interesting stuff.

But the paper was dry and brittle and I put it out in the garbage the next day. Refer to first line here.

But while Livingstone’s tone-deaf comments came at a very politically sensitive moment, the

This guy seems to be making a strawman argument. I doubt anybody is saying these Germans were Zionists. If you think about it, this would be, in their way of thinking, a less expensive way of dealing with them.

We have never quite witnessed before a major party’s likely candidate who so early in the race seems unable to meet the grueling demands of the spring, summer, and fall campaign trail, much less the anticipated duties of president.

Biden is like the drunk guy at the bar that you try to ignore, always saying how intelligent and great he is. But everyone else knows the opposite is true.
