They leave a bike out on their own property, but it's called "planting the bike to decoy the thieves"?
The handful of people sickened so far were using illegal cartridges that contained oil-based products. This just smacks of more over-reach and over-reaction against vaping companies that are not only a success but have put a considerable dent int he use of traditional tobacco.
Not that odd when it has been discovered that nicotine alone might not be addictive at all without the presence of the other chemicals found in tobacco like tare and oils.
By itself, one professional called it the most effective stimulant known. I can dig up the article if needed.
Aren't there cartridges that containing no nicotine but just flavoring and water that people use? Granted, that may not be the smartest thing to do, but not as much of a threat as smoking black market oil cartridges.
They are begging for money. I hope they get what they deserve for their "neutral" platform:
"It might be awkward, but please don't scroll past this. This Friday we humbly ask you to defend Wikipedia's independence. Our 2019 fundraiser will be over very soon. 98% of our readers don't give; they simply look the other way. If you are an exceptional reader who has already donated, we sincerely thank you. If you donate just $2.75, Wikipedia could keep thriving for years. Most people donate for a simple reason—because Wikipedia is useful. If Wikipedia gave you $2.75 worth of knowledge this year, take a minute to secure its future with a gift to the Wikimedia Endowment. Show the volunteers who bring you reliable, neutral information that their work matters. Thank you."
Fine. Then raise the age to be eligible to vote to 21 as well. If you are not responsible or trustworthy enough to smoke or drink at the age of 18, then you are far to ignorant to vote at 18.
Next, we can talk about the draft and eligibility for military service.
"First, there’s a thing we do as Natives which has come to be known as “indigenization” which is when, inspired by art or pop culture, we give it an indigenous spin — something our communities can relate to, and that’s what we’ve done with Baby Yoda."
Is this not the very definition of appropriation?

Love this comment left on the page- "“The simple, logical reason being black (and brown) students engage in the majority of anti-social behavior in public school classrooms across America, and are thus disciplined for their actions…”
“…is verboten, an unforgivable sin by any who dares utter or write such blasphemy.”
How can any judge over-ride the decision of the commander-in-chief of the armed forces on any decision related to activities of the armed forces including their discretionary spending?
What's next? Literally suing the president for peace in court by our enemies?
I can see it now. Isis and their ACLU/SPLC legal team wins a judgment in California or Washington state that the Trump administration violated their rights under the Constitution and that Isis has the right to seek damages. Furthermore, all hostile action must be put on immediate hold even if the Trump administration seeks an appeal .
While it was and is a brilliant marketing move on the part of Ryan Reynolds to cash in on the controversy, such as it is, the original commercial was perfectly fine unless you are steeped in cancel culture.
A husband bought his wife a bike she obviously wanted. I guess staying in shape and improving your health with long-term exercise is simple fat shaming an patriarchal now.
Soylent Green is still people but now is fertilizer that you grow your food in.
I really don't see a problem with this. Graveyards are a waste of space and for the living, not the dead. The funeral business itself seems to ghoulishly prey on those who are at their weakest for things they and the deceased do not need or are outright foolish.
The Christians should not have a problem about this either I would think given the idea that we were taken from the Earth and we are dust. I would think any process interfering with God's plan would be seen as sacrilege including prevention a person from decaying and returning to the Earth.
Using the processed remains as compost on the other hand, no. At least not until proven safe, but I'm sure there are plenty on the west coast that will volunteer to be test subjects for this.
