Democrats don't like issues being deferred to the states, where they have some of their weakest election prospects.

Well, they may not like having issues deferred to the states, but there's a lot more going on than sheer politics about the country's reactions to the SCOTUS Roe decision. A person would have to be really dense and in denial to not recognize that the topic of abortion is a very touchy, painful one for most people, regardless of what "side" they are on. The rage/stress that people are expressing has less to do with politics and more to do with personal experiences/traumas surrounding the whole topic. At least RECOGNIZE that much, and stop politicizing EVERYTHING, denying the human element!

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) on Sunday said doctors who perform abortions will be targeted for prosecution in her state after a new trigger law went into effect following the Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade on Friday. Noem told CBS “Face the Nation” host Margaret Brennan that while South Dakota would charge…

Auto club AAA said the average price on Saturday was a fraction of a penny over $5.00. Motorists in some parts of the country, especially California, are paying far above that. It was bad enough for cab driver Joseph Pierre when it cost $25 to fill his tank.

Rule no. 1 for tyrants? Go for the guns. Fresh off of last week’s decision to implement a sweeping ban on handgun sales, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau doubled down and decried ‘American-style’ views on gun ownership while arguing that Canadians have no right whatsoever to use guns for self-defense. Ukrainian and British officials warned Saturday that Russian forces are relying on weapons able to cause mass casualties as they try to make headway in capturing eastern Ukraine and fierce, prolonged fighting depletes resources on both sides. Russian bombers have likely been launching heavy 1960s-era anti-ship missiles in Ukraine, the U.K. Defense Ministry said. Both sides have expended large amounts of weaponry in what has become a grinding war of attrition for the eastern region of coal mines and factories known as the Donbas, placing huge strains on their resources and stockpiles.

The longer they prolong their pointless "war," the more people and property will be destroyed. Quit while you're behind, people!

Way out of hand now? It's only just begun!

If people are thinking that the turbulence/hubbub over Roe v. Wade will "end" with some ruling by the Supremes, they're likely to be disappointed. The proverbial "can of worms" has been opened and will stay open for quite some time... especially if/when various states actually begin making abortion access illegal. The "protests" have only just begun.
