Mike Lynch lost a multibillion-dollar fraud action on Friday over the sale of Autonomy in 2011.

Does extradition ever work the other way? I mean, I've heard of many people being extradited to the US, but I have never heard of anyone being extradited from the US, to the UK, or indeed, anywhere else. What's the point in an extradition treaty, if it only works one way?

Actor Peter Dinklage called a live-action remake of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs "backwards".

Now, I'm not an expert, but I'm fairly sure that dwarves are named after the dwarves of folklore and aren't actually those dwarves. Dwarves today have many joint and movement problems because of their condition. I don't see them working long hours in mines, or them having being expert craftsmen in the dim and distant past. It's a birth defect, not a race. Just because Dinklage resembles dwarves of folklore in stature doesn't mean he is one, and more importantly, it doesn't mean he speaks for them.

From 11 February, arrivals in England and Scotland will no longer have to take a test within 48 hours.

Seeing as the infection rate among the vaccinated is higher than the unvaccinated, and the boosted is even higher than that, it makes perfect sense to do this. At least if the idea is to prolong the spread of covid through those most likely to spread it.

"My show ain't ready," the star tells fans, one night before her concert series was due to begin.

She's a singer, all she had to do was sing, how was that not ready? All those people have booked tickets to watch her sing, not see some weird gimmicks. Better they got what they came for, rather than nothing. Can't help but think this is all ego.

Having to sideload apps would pose a security risk to iPhone users, Apple warned as rivals and lawmakers push antitrust measures.

I'm amazed that Apple has managed to get away with so much for so long. Microsoft certainly weren't able to in the late 90s. Weren't there rules against monopolies?

Investigative reporter and FOX News contributor Lara Logan responded to Dr. Tony Fauci’s statement in November that he is “science” and challenging him is challenging “science.”

Seems that she did precisely what journalists should do, show up the absurd remarks of those in power for precisely what they are, vainglorious, self-aggrandising by useless buffoons.

Boris Johnson was last night battling to put down a coup attempt by Red Wall MPs. Ministers rounded on the group of newly-elected Tories after details emerged of their 'Pork Pie Plot' to unseat the PM.

The problem here is that we could end up with someone even worse than Boris, hard to believe but given the current state of UK politics, highly possible.

A disabled woman calls for a greater understanding of female safety after she "begged" a bus driver to let her travel home.

So a woman who left her house with no money, and an out of date bus pass, believes that she should have been able to travel home for free, because she felt scared, at 4.30pm, and because she has a vagina? She says that companies should have a transition plan, for when women want to get home, but don't have the means! That already exists, it's called money and is accepted anywhere. For someone who is disabled and afraid of being out, you would think that she'd have some contingencies, like a spare bus pass, some cash, basic stuff that all adults have to think of to ensure they get home at the end of each journey. Instead, she wants to not bother with any of that, and have bus companies, taxis etc, take her home for free when she forgets. Why not go the whole hog and have women travel for free and men pay double?

Jon Stewart is flummoxed as to why the national anthem is played before sports events, calling it a "weird ritual." He also questioned the American tradition of standing for the national anthem.

Don't all nations stand for their national anthem? And as for playing it, most large sporting events, e.g. The Olympics, play the national anthem of the winner. When all participants are from the same country, it makes sense to play it before the match. I think what he is really struggling to understand here, is pride.
