So now being next to someone, when you are twelve, who is dressed as, but not acting like, a member of the KKK is considered enough to get you cancelled? No-one stopped to think that may be an overreaction?
And I am sure that you're opposed to people taking the law into their own hands, when the person on the receiving end is black? You're basically justifying the killing of Arbery then?
Wears really short shorts, and then complains when the security guards look at her ass, despite having it on display for everyone to see! She chose that outfit, did she not realise that other people would be able to see her in them? And then she claims that the female security guards sexually harassed her, by looking at her shorts to determine if they were too short! The modern generation is so cosseted and brought up to be a victim (of something, anything!) that they really have no idea of what sexual harassment is, because that most certainly is not it!
That's disgraceful, she and her friend showed zero remorse for the man that they murdered as he lay dying beside them, their demeanour, tone and body language seemed to imply that they believed he had brought it on himself. And she absolutely cannot be rehabilitated, she's fifteen, not five. If she has this little regard for human life now, then a spell in prison is only going to cement that anger, hate and disregard for others and their lives. One can't help but wonder what the result would have been had this been two white teenage girls and an elderly black man? Actual justice perhaps?
What a mess, I am hoping that this is the high watermark for depravity and things will improve from here, hoping, but not hopeful.
It isn't so surprising that this fraud took place, it is much more staggering that it was just ignored, even though it was pretty blatant, and every legal challenge was shot down, again despite all the evidence. It seems some people were just determined to bend, or break the rules and even completely subvert democracy, just to be rid of Trump. When, rather than if, this comes out, charges must be lain at the feet of those who not only participated but also those that wilfully ignored it occurring, and the Supreme Court Justices who refused to hear it.
I mean realistically, did anyone actually fall for that mask, even on the CCTV? You'll be claiming next that people actually mistake Michael Myers for Captain Kirk.
Who voted for this man a second time? I mean, seriously?
It should be a basic requirement in any democracy, the UK doesn't have the same problems that the US does, we don't have voter machines for a start, but we also rely on the goodwill and the honesty of the poll workers, ballot counters and the integrity of the system. As was seen in America, if the public are lied to enough, fed enough exaggerated claims and one candidate is painted out to be a danger, or evil, there are always people willing to bend or break the rules for what they believe to be the greater good.
What does it matter what Darwin's thoughts were on a variety of subjects for which he is not famous for? He isn't celebrated because he was perfect, but because of his theory on evolution and his body of scientific work. Literally nothing else matters.
It's a shame that Sheffield University cannot follow its own advice and remain objective and scientific instead of trying to score woke points and virtue signal.
