Former President Donald Trump will be back on social media in the near future with his own service, according to one of his senior advisers.

Alternate social media? Really?

Gab, the Twitter-like social networking service known for its far-right userbase, has reportedly been hacked - putting more than 40 million public and private posts, messages, as well as user profiles and hashed...

"tranny demon hackers"? They hack the demons that cause problems in transmissions?

An Arizona judge ruled Monday that the self-described “QAnon Shaman” – who garnered widespread recognition after storming the U.S. Capitol shirtless, wearing face paint, a bearskin and horned headdress on Jan. 6 – must remain jailed until his trial.

Odd that he recommends hanging for traitors. If they had charged him with treason, that could have been what happened to him.

Welcome back, Parler

This was a show trial, an attempt by Democrats to humiliate Trump after his election defeat and force Republicans to side with him or against him.

The acquittal will serve Democrats well. It will keep their coalition united. Liberals, Conservatives, Liberatians....basically anyone that is anti-fascist will forget other issues to unit against Trump.

On Saturday, the U.S. Senate voted to acquit former President Donald Trump in his historic second impeachment trial, prompting his critics in Hollywood to react on social media.

I've never registered as a Democrat before, but it would seem that the best way to slow the liberal agenda now would be to pick conservative Democrats in the Primary.

Former President Trump was acquitted in an unprecedented second impeachment trial on the charge of inciting an insurrection for the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, making him the first and only president to be impeached and acquitted twice in history.

In 1974, when faced with an evil President, Republicans distanced themselves from it, and they regained power within 6 years. In 2020, Republicans not only don't condemn evil, they embrace it. That provides a unique opening for extreme Liberals, because no matter how extreme their agenda, many voters will tolerate it as a better alternative to the party of evil.

Conservative "The View" co-host Meghan McCain said Wednesday that video of last month's Capitol riot that was played at former President Donald Trump's impeachment trial "literally took my breath away".

The impeachment trial will enrage Trump supporters, and make them continue to control the Republican Party. The longer Trump holds control, the smaller the party will get, and the bolder the Democrats can get.

In 2020, because of Trump, Democrats felt no need to run to the center, and they stayed extreme left. The last time the Democrats ran extreme left was 1972, and it was disastrous. But, Trump changed the dynamics. With Republicans controlled by Trump, moderates and libertarians will tolerate liberal extremism as preferable to Trump, so the Democrats are empowered to do whatever then want. Once Trump fades out of the picture, Republicans can hopefully regroup, and once again mount resistance to the radical left.

COVID-19 put not just humanity into quarantine, but also every other transmittable disease.

I would add that they are doing nearly as many flu tests this year as in other years, however they are all coming back negative, so it's not a case where they are not looking for the flu. Some companies, such as Quidel, even have combo tests where one test will test the same sample for both the flu and Covid, and tell the doctors if the patient has one, the other, or both.

The science deniers are out if full force today, though.

COVID-19 put not just humanity into quarantine, but also every other transmittable disease.

Why is this news? The same thing has happened in every country on earth, starting as soon as March, when Singapore reported that they had virtually no flu cases, followed by Australia during May-Jun, their peak flu season. It has long been expected that the US would see the same thing, and a look at the math shows why.

Flu has a R0 of 1.2, meaning it can spread, but not that fast, while Covid has an R0 of 3-6, making it spread rampantly. If there are 100 reproduction cycles during the year, 1.2^100 is 83 million, about the number of flu cases in the US per year. If you reduce that by 10%, 1.1^100 is 13,781. So, it doesn't take much reduction of the spread of the flu cuts the number of cases from 83 million to 14,000. With Covid, the R0 is so high that once it escaped into the wild, the chances of stopping it was gone.
