Even early on a Sunday morning, a steady stream of people, some expectant, some bemused, could be seen arriving at a bridge in Dublin that’s become the city’s latest attraction due to a trend that originated on TikTok in recent days. The unassuming bridge crossing the Royal Canal at Drumcondra Road has become known as “Cherry Tomato Bridge” after several of the said salad ingredient were observed by a passerby frozen to the bridge wall during the recent cold snap in the Irish capital.Multiple videos have followed on TikTok and X, as people make the “pilgrimage” to what one local news site called Dublin’s “hottest” attraction.
