An understanding of miswanting is important in the law of attraction field. You want to feel as if what you want is already here in the now moment in order to attract more of it. But when people miswant they spend so much time focusing on the carrot on a stick (what they're miswanting), that it makes the process much more difficult than it has to be.

You simply have to find the feeling of what you want, not the physical representation. Among other examples, I discuss someone who wants to get a promotion, but in reality the promotion makes things worse. Miswanting is like being a hamster running around on a wheel. We could just be still and be at the end right now.
