If you want to take time out to meditate but have a busy life, consider combining your meditative practices with your daily chores. This morning I said affirmation phrases like "I am happy to be here in the present moment," and "I am thankful." I just focused in on those affirmations and other things came to mind to be thankful about. It's a good way to train your brain to focus on what you're thankful for. Plus, it turns your "chores" into something you can enjoy (thinking about things you're thankful for, or appreciating that you are practicing self-love with affirmations).
