The bible tells us that the bible and/or Tanakh is not what the prophets thought the "word of God" was. The people had scrolls, they thought they had the "word of God" but Jeremiah 8:8 says the scribes wrote lies in their supposed "word of God".

Jeremiah 8:8 How can you say, ‘We are wise, and the word of YHWH is with us?’ But in fact, the lying pen of the scribes has made it a lie.

Christ taught us to divide the scriptures based on the fruit and follow the Spirit to all truth. We don't need a book, we have the Spirit.
