It's problematic that the U.S. government through USAID has given over a $ 1 billion to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and its affiliates to settle refugees and immigrants when the Church has a scandalous history of placing predator priests among migrants and the handicapped and of covering up abuse that has occurred among them.
