Thomas Simpkins, 44, had been celebrating the big game at a barbecue a couple of miles from the stadium, where the Seattle Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots before jumping in an Uber to go to his Santa Clara home at around 9 p.m. on Feb. 8, his sister told NBC Bay Area.
