Gottesman Pool at the Davis Center in Harlem Meer will open after four years of locals waiting for another water-filled oasis to replace the Lasker Rink & Pool, which shuttered in 2021. The official opening -- preceded by a soft opening Thursday -- will coincide with the opening of New York City’s 64 other outdoor public pools on June 27.
