Senator Richard "Da Nang Dick" Blumenthal, ranking member of the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, sent a letter to Acting CDC Director Dr. Jay Bhattacharya seeking information about a decision by CDC leadership not to publish a study on Covid-19 vaccine effectiveness. Blumenthal said the decision the "represents yet another troubling instance of politicized science at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) under the Trump Administration."
