The Connecticut State Senate is preparing to vote Wednesday on more than a dozen “emergency certified” bills — many of which never received public hearings — raising renewed concerns about transparency at the Capitol.  The push comes immediately after a major winter storm battered Connecticut from Feb. 22 into Feb. 23, dumping snow statewide, creating hazardous travel conditions, triggering a gubernatorial emergency declaration, and forcing the closure of the State Capitol to the public.
