Former Albanian President Sali Berisha said that he will ask the new U.S. administration under Donald Trump to reverse the Biden Administration’s move to declare him  a “persona non grata” because of alleged corruption in May 2021. Berisha says the sanctions were orchestrated by current Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and George Soros to stifle political opposition in the Balkan country.
