King Charles III toasted a new era of Franco-British cooperation on Tuesday at a royal banquet on held in honour of French President Emmanuel Macron's state-visit to the U.K. "France is one of our strongest allies as well as a country for which my wife and I have deep affection, personally." Charles said during a speech in which he stressed the close ties between the nations while gently poking fun at long-standing cultural differences.
