King Charles III is opening up about his cancer diagnosis and treatment, acknowledging that the experience can be "daunting and at times frightening" for both patients and their loved ones. Charles and Queen Camilla, joined by Birgitte, the Duchess of Gloucester, hosted a reception at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday to honor community-based initiatives that raise cancer awareness and support those living with the disease. In a statement, Charles commented on the emotional toll of a cancer diagnosis, noting, "Each diagnosis, each new case, will be a daunting and at times frightening experience for those individuals and their loved ones."
