A multiday severe weather episode is ongoing across the eastern half of the country, focusing on the Deep South, Plains, Great Lakes and Midwest Sunday before shifting eastward on Monday. Sunday night, large hail, damaging winds and tornadoes are possible in cities including Dallas, Little Rock, Jackson, St. Louis, Nashville, Indianapolis and Chicago. On Monday, the threat of tornadoes, large hail and damaging wind stretches from the Gulf Coast and Southeast into the mid-Atlantic, including cities like Atlanta, Charlotte, Jacksonville, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia and NYC.
