STORY: ::Kroev, Germany::August 7, 2024::A hotel partially collapses near Germany's Moselle river, killing at least one person ::Police say several others are trapped inside the hotel, some of them severely injured Firefighters and paramedics gathered outside the building, whose upper floor caved in at around 11 p.m. (2100 GMT) on Tuesday.Investigators believe 14 people were in the hotel when the incident occurred, five of whom escaped without injury.The Moselle region is known for its picturesque towns and vineyards on steep river banks.
