The people who hate the ultra-rich hate them for one reason, and one reason alone - they're jealous. It's wealth envy.
Now, there are other things about the ultra-rich to hate, but those same "hate-able" qualities also apply to people who are not rich at all.
There are things to hate about everyone (yes, including myself). But what the haters hate about the rich (ultra and regular) is the fact that the rich have more than the haters do.
Look at Bernie. He hated millionaires - until he became one; then they were fine, it was the next level of richness that is bad.
Roseanne Barr, when she ran for president, said that anyone with a certain level of wealth should be REQUIRED BY LAW to turn in all the excess to government. If they refused, they would be sent to reeducation camps until they agreed. I forget the exact amount, but I think it was $70 million. Coincidentally, at the time she was worth just a few million under her threshold (like $65-$67 million). Funny how that works - she could keep all of hers and even gain a little more wealth; it was just the people who had more than she did that was a problem.
Bernie is both wealthy and powerful, will he give away most of his money to the poor?
Or is it only that other people's money should be redistributed, like a typical corrupt socialist does?
Depends what americans your talking. and what rich your talking.
most americans i think do not give a toss about rich people or their wealth.
what they do give a toss about is arrogance and being talked down to.
take a keanu reeves loved around the internet supremely rich and famous b list actor that took some iconic roles over the course of career.
On top of that hes has had heavy tradegy in his life and is a humble and seemingly genuine human being most of the time when you see him, he is confortable in his own skin and it shows.
most actors are disliked if not outright hated. because of the fakeness the virtue singaling the out of touch bullshit and the omg my slave labor and my gated communities hyprocracy.
its not the wealth itself that does it thought it just many get caught up and lost in the echo chamber that is fame and wealth and memory hole what being a real person is like.
Only the fringe types hate people out of jealousy or greed. and they ugly tiny minded people.
Oh, Tim, YES, Zuck got lucky. That does not mean Zuck didn't work hard to make FB a success; but a LOT of people work hard AND smart to make their business a success and it still goes bust. I refer you to the Obama buddies who started up Solyndra. They made connections with the POTUS; they even got billions of dollars in taxpayer money; they still went out of business.
HD versus Blu-Ray; BetaMax versus VHS. There are tons of examples of people with good business models and good products who went bust. It is, to a large degree, LUCK as to what catches on with the public and what doesn't.

Main reasons poor people are poor: low IQ's, growing up in shitty cultures, consumer-minded instead of business-minded, making excuses instead of putting in effort (victim mentality and jealousy), focus more on drugs, popularity or fun than learning or working hard.
Also poor people are the major contributors to litter, pollution, over-consumption, population problems, and economic collapse by pushing for stupid regulations and policies that fuck EVERYTHING because they are too stupid to understand economics.

Tim, people using money to make money is not leeching ANYTHING from society. Using your money to buy a home as a rental property is not leeching anything away from anyone else.
You, using your money to buy cameras and vans for your business, is using money to make money. Are you leeching resources? NO!
Using your money to buy stocks in the stock market is using money to make money. Anything wrong with that, Tim?!?
You speak as though the money supply is a fixed pot. If someone takes more than their share, it leaves the pot depleted for others. But the economy (money supply) is NOT fixed; it shrinks and it grows. One person having billions does not stop anyone else from also having billions.
sadly most of the so-called uber-wealthy have the vast majority of their net worth tied up in stocks and other non-liquid assets, while their liquid assets are only a few million at most. Their true net worth would only count their liquid assets since the non-liquid assets will vary in actual value over time by gaining or losing value.
actually that comment perfectly fits rich, looking for example at apple shareholders, ea, they want to sell more every year, their greed is beyond way to comment it. thats why they lost 50% of stock market value last year. cos its a worthless bubble. same thing is countries GDP they want it grow every year or stay the same, thx to mgtow now it crashes cos men dont waste money on useless shit like whores, they are addicted to shopping and consider it a hobby. since you will kick out whore out of your life, parttime job is far more than enough to live at same level as you lived with a whore, and no more stress and drama
Remember just last week when Tim Pool took a political compass quiz and proved he was a communist?
When even a devout communist can correctly assess what Reddit seemingly failed to, just shows how out of touch Reddit really is.
Tim's advice to get wealthy, use other people's money. When Tim starts to actually use his own cash instead of begging for other people's money I might consider him a source to goto in this topic.
