Oh look, youtube just became TV, almost as if it wanted to kill itself... I really should just delete my own channel, not that its worth too much, but why contribute this corporate bullshit anyway...

Oh well. Like anyone is going to shed a tear for Alphabet losing millions upon millions?!

It's FAR time for someone to step up and go do it right. Take no shit from anyone and go make bank!

Fuck Google.

The video says it all. As I've said before: If this doesn't start a mass exodus from Youtube (coupled with the coming COAADpocalypse) nothing will.

Right, actually. It has no moral obligation to host anyone's video. But here are some obligations it does have:

(a) To be either a platform or a publisher, but not both. If they pick and choose content, they're responsible for all the threats, slander, fraud and everything else.

(b) To keep its promises. YouTube told everyone that if creators make popular, legal content, they'll host it in a certain way. Content creators put a lot of work into living up to their part of that.

(c) Not to aid the enemies of the west. This is a war, and they are helping the enemy by suppressing red-pilled videos and promoting the fake news.

(d) Not to lie to the audience about the nature of the content. For instance, they host MSNBC and CNN videos, but also claim to be against fake news. So that's a lie. They tell other lies about their overall content.

I think it is mostly so that when they ban someone, they don't have to come up with a justification. "Hey, you banned me. Why?" - "Aww, sorry, your channel wasn't commercially viable."

It's almost as if they want Bitchute to replace them. I think someone penned a word for it: Tiredness. They are tired of being this massive monopoly of public space and just want to end themselves. How else would they pull off something like this? Time for you to make that big jump, Tim. It's only a matter of time before Youtube goes the way of LiveJournal.

This will look stupid as all hell in a little while. Pop culture is in the middle of a format war, and the folks at Google are too dumb to see that they already won. The future is small creators and niche subjects, but instead of embracing what they have and making it work (which would not be hard), Youtube is hellbent on competing for the second place with the MSM dinosaurs and monthly subscription services. And I bet that when some other video sharing site becomes THE go to video site and gets the advertising right, they will become the biggest media company on the planet.

Youtube could be huge, but I guess this will just be the ultimate "Get woke, go broke".

Demonetize a channel (like a lot have been) and they INSTANTLY become 'Not Commercially Viable'. tada. Easy way to censor anyone for any reason.

It's just an excuse to ban anyone and have a "reason" for it.

YT just signed it's own death warrant. It'll be BitChute's era before long.
