I could give a royal fuck about a royal baby
Britain has become a humorless society.
non-whites are a protected class in britain. its okay for bbc to actually discriminate against whites but tweets talking about mixed people is the real shit
This is why I deleted Twitter. This is why I deleted Facebook. There's no reason to keep one, and every reason to flee from them.
In the UK of today, if you don't have a leftist free pass loincense for joking, you are walking on thin ice.
When a place don't even allow for joking and shitposting, that place is not worth living in.
Ehhhhh I think this particular piece of news was not very news worthy. I am not saying I agree with the firing, but I think most people know that comparing even a pseudo black person to a monkey has always been eggshell walking at best.
Tim... I think there are bigger fish to fry.
EDIT: I have to acknowledged that people in the US know the Monkey trope. I don't know if this is a thing in the UK.
I think that people have a right to their opinion. Saying offensive things is not what should get someone fired. Rather, it's actions that may get someone into trouble. If this radio personality fired someone because of race, I might agree with firing the fire-er. Rhetoric by itself should not be enough to get someone fired, PERIOD.
They Fired Rosanne over the Comparison, are you surprised?
I can see it now: "Tim Pool, controversial alt-right-adjacent youtuber, defends racist tweet comparing people of African descent to monkeys"
I wonder if this will be what finally gets us a post-leftist, "Punished Tim Pool".
I doubt he compared the kid to a monkey. But it does go to show you that other people may have thought about it since they're "outraged" and have brought race into it.
