Even the trailer to the film was good, no narrator, no characters talking or a scene just for the trailer, no real spoilers, just scenes and music, an atmosphere to build tension and suspense to keep the audience in the "dark". It was the better Matrix movie before that overrated crap came out. Dark City was far better with its setting, story, themes, pacing, ending, music, characters, acting, lines, dialog, action and so on. It was able to tell its story with only one film and not drag it out for four fucking films... but you have to watch the director's cut, it gets rid of that terrible intro.
