I'm pretty sure the "strong independent woman who needs no man" is also a harmful stereotype. Because all it does encourage women to be degnerates rather than settling down and having a family. These same women almost always regret their lifestyle when they reach their fourties.

Before they call one form harmful, they need to prove the opposite is helpful. So far the reverse of what they call harmful has been proven true. Women with families are far more happy and fulfilled then rich women high up a corporate ladder with no family.
