This is frustrating. Russia's natural friend is Europe. But the greed of European leaders to get a cut in Russia's mineral resources through plunder exceeds their duty to serve the European people. So Russia is left having to trade with China -- where markets for her minerals are plentiful. This can only help prop up the tyranny that is China -- and Europe did it.
Perhaps if the European Union was never formed, and its countries felt free to act independently, this might never have happened.
