This was one of the main reasons I left the shit hole state of Illinois and moved to my wife's country, Japan. She got pregnant and had bad morning sickness. We went to the ER once for about an hour. They gave her an IV and some medicine. A week later I get a bill for almost $2,500. Same thing in Japan cost less than $30.
