Disgustingly expensive, and ridiculous that you can't replace your device and keep the map service. That's not lifetime, it's a couple of years. For that price, I'd expect 7 years or so, and I doubt the unit will last that long. . my last two lasted around 2 or 3 years. Just pirate the maps using qBittorrent and pay nothing. a-holes.
