Yeah, Colt couldn't compete in that market.

Most people don't want to pay an extra grand for the nostalgia.

Not news. Nobody was buying them.

This is a problem why?

Who'd get a Colt?

Many others without overpriced name!

So many lies in one story! Ar-15's etc are NOT built nor designed for the military, they are not even full auto weapons.. Also the "high-impact, high-velocity round that is fired from those weapons " statement is utter CRAP too! There is nothing special about the rounds these weapons fire, there are many more calibers far more powerful than these!

Once it's common knowledge among gun owners that Colt is Anti American how much longer will it be before they go under for good. https://www.investopedia.com/articles/markets/071315/why-colt-went-out-business.asp

Too much on the market would decrease demand thus drive down their prices probably.

Colt isn't worth a shit, damn, or fuck in 2019 so they aren't selling and Colt is trying to capitalize on good boy points for whatever reason. Maybe they think they'll get more military contracts if they start cucking early. I truly think new production Colts might be the worse AR you can buy and I don't think that's an unpopular opinion at all. There are better quality options at a lower price point, Colt is nothing but a name now.

Gun manufacturers posturing for liberals is as genius a move as Gillette razors posturing for liberals. Good on you! You should increase your market dramatically with that PR!
