The violence after George Floyd's death is the costliest since the 1992 L.A. riots.

Force Majeure. Learn it, know it, live it.

Not for insurance companies. Force Majeure inc.

If not that, then bankruptcy. Insurance is a rip-off that skews our risk/reward analysis.

I would hope that when corrupt Communist governments fail to provide basic, presumed law enforcement, that insurance companies are completely off the hook.

Who would be on the hook? The business/home/auto owner? The widow/widower of murdered person? Banks? If it is banks then you know there will be a bailout and we {again} would pay for it, surely. It is easy to throw a legal term around like "Force Majure" but in reality this economy only works when goods/services are exchanged without exception.

Governments have failed us. We should rectify that before going any further! Fire the shitheads who allowed the rioters/terrorists to do their damage and replace with law abiding, God fearing replacements so this doesn't happen again. If you are too skeered to allow the term "God fearing" then you are part of the problem. The social contract is broken and we need law enforcement and EMS more than ever. Law enforcement functions under elected leaders, good or bad.

That's if insurance companies cover it I don't think they cover war or insurrection and theyre not known for paying out for arson.
