The author of Psalm 10 is not identified, and are we not given the historical context for the psalm. However, the subject of the psalm is evident, for the focus is on the pride and oppressive nature of the wicked. I invite you to consider two portraits of man found in Psalm 10. The first portrait is that of the wicked (10:2-11), and the second is a portrayal of the righteous, and their appeal to the LORD (10:1, 12-16). You may not always see justice come to pass, but you can be certain that the LORD is on the side of the righteous, and He is a righteous Judge (10:18).
