I've seen a couple videos lately that express the reality that we live in a bubble surrounded by uncertainty. If we look back far enough in time, things get very uncertain. If we look forward far enough in time things get very uncertain. If we look out far enough away, things get very uncertain. If we look deep enough into the microscopic world, things get very uncertain. If we look far enough into our OWN individual existence, things get very uncertain. If we look far enough into our own individual futures, things get very uncertain. If you look far enough into our own minds, our consciousness, things get very uncertain.

If you look in ANY direction far enough, we get to the edge of uncertainty. At core, we really don't know very much. We know a lot but in comparison to what we don't know, we know almost nothing. And what we do know we eventually discover we don't know shit.

All this to say, the reason I doubt evolution is simply because scientists express unshakable faith in it even though we don't really know.

Funny side note though -- this guy is one of the heads of the "Discovery Institute", a politically conservative think tank based in SEATTLE! LOL. I wonder how that's going for him.

Garbage. The Cambrian "Explosion" took tens of millions of years. The point about DNA is just a "God of the gaps" argument. We don't know in detail how DNA formed so it cannot be evolution (and is maybe "Gawd"). Garbage.

One other reason to express doubt about evolution. There are little "bio pico-machines" inside our cells. Lots and lots of them. They are outrageous. But the one that blows my mind is the DNA copying widget. It's a molecular level gadget that takes a strand of DNA -- SPLITS IT in half unzipping it -- grabs one side and makes a copy of it and the OTHER side of the DNA has to be copied BACKWARDS, in chunks, and spliced back in the right order.

It is literally a molecular level copying machine that does a reverse clip copy/splice. It is such a complex little bitch, it is exceedingly hard to imagine how such a fucking thing randomly gets created. And it is a CRITICAL piece of the DNA copying mechanism, through which cells divide and multiply.

I'm not advocating for "intelligent design" or "god" or anything like that. Just that "evolution" doesn't seem capable of coming up with a mechanism capable of creating a micro reverse copy splicer.

Oh no....I agree with everything I've watched on Prager U. Now someone's put a turd in the punch bowl and I might not go back. Why! Below is a snippet. Discovery Institute is Christian based garbage science.

" In the video, Stephen C. Meyer, who earned a Ph.D. in the history and philosophy of science and who serves as a senior fellow at the Discovery Institute, lays out two key flaws in the evolutionary theory".

I feel really bad for all the good videos they have put out.

Now every time one of their videos is mentioned, all their opposition have to do is say "aren't these the people that make anti-evolution videos?"

They have staked their reputation with a fake-scientist at the "Discovery Institute" - which surprise, surprise, he founded - with a PhD in "History and Philosophy of Science"

You don't battle Left-wing activist bigots by promoting Right-wing activist bigots

Stephen Myer is awesome. Listen to what he is saying.

It's so nice to see scientists willing to finally stand up for the truth.

Eh. There may be good reasons for legitimate skepticism within an ideological context, as with "climate change", but otherwise the rest is denial, stemming from ego-attachment, expressed as pre-conceived dogma preceding evidence;

Cart-before-ox reasoning.

Just destroyed your own credibility, Prager U

I used to look to Prager U as a legitimate source. Now... Sorry, guys, but you just blew to $#!t every ounce of credibility it took you like, what, a decade to build up? You're on my "fake news / boycott / don't click" list now, along with HuffPo and CNN; along with all the Nazi-larpers, the "its the joos" peeps and flat earthers. What a waste....
