What is even more harmful is being completely ignorant of history. Otherwise, we are doomed to repeat it.

If you think learning about WWII is "intense", imagine what it was like for those who faught in it Suck it up buttercup, be grateful and show some respect for those who sacrificed, so that you haven't had to.

Interesting. Reminds me of some of Larry Niven's stories. He wrote about a semi-dystopian future where a totalitarian government that does it's best to keep people docile essentially rewrote history to make it seem as though humans were an entirely pacifistic society.

World War II was turned into a giant sports competition, to the point that warplanes in museums are thought to have been 'racing planes' in the giant multinational competition. Meanwhile many artifacts and all history of these past periods are completely rewritten, so as not to disturb the public's delicate sensibilities.

Only some working for the totalitarian government know, and it's easy to keep them in line with either them simply accepting the status quo as no one would believe one person claiming history is falsified, or being threatened with death.

Fiction's looking more and more like reality daily...

Millennials really are the weakest of men. Wonder what sort of times weak men make. I hope I live long enough for them to realise just how fucking pathetic they are.

Yes, I completely agree with this. Teach them instead about the socialist societies and wars that murdered millions in cold blood in the name of equality and nearly brought about the end of the world with nuclear fire during the Cuban missile crisis.

Of course they don't want kids to study history. If any of them have actual knowledge of history, they can challenge the anti-western, anti-capitalist, anti-Christian, all-white-people-are-evil-and-never-did-anything-positive-for-the-world narrative.

This is the absolute state of the Anglo man in 2019
