"the current and any future version will not display posts containing a small and select list of approximately 20 highly offensive racial epithets. " Ok, so where's the free speech then? You threw it out the window, right?

It doesnt matter if Google and Mozilla are anti-free speech, that doesnt mean that you have to bow down and lick their balls.

So, in the interest of not having my speech moderated, not even a little bit, I will not be using your service anymore.

And btw, there are no offensive words, because words dont have inherent meanings. Thus, you capitulate to the authoritarian SJWs, and you allow them to affect your otherwise great platform.

It doesnt matter how small the list is, even if it is just 1 banned word. You have effectively limited what people can say, you've told people "you cant use this word".

What happens when friends greet each other using racial epithets? Are you gonna tell them to be offended?

I didnt have much faith in gab to begin with, but it seems that it will just go with the flow, and join the rest of the flock.

Have fun being a secondary twitter that nobody needs.

What does 403: Failed To Dissent mean?

Time to uninstall the extension. They won't stop with "20 words".

"Full disclosure: the Dissenter browser extension is currently listed on the Google Chrome and Firefox extension store. Google has content rules around "hate speech" which require any software in the Chrome store to not link to hateful content.

Dissenter does not police content on the basis of viewpoint, even where those viewpoints are extreme and highly offensive. This continues to be the case. However, Google/Mozilla are private businesses and as such, under U.S. law, they currently enjoys broad discretion to choose what content apps on their extension stores are permitted to link to.

In the interests of continuing to be able to distribute the extension through the extension stores, we have made the decision that the current and any future version of the extension listed in the extension stores will not display posts containing a small and select list of approximately 20 highly offensive racial epithets. If you want to make a point that folks on the current version of the extension can see, you'll have to do so without using offensive racial language."

Make Dissenter decentralized, so it cannot be moderated. Decentralization would have the advantage of resisting shutdown too.

I've got the browser, but when I type in "dissenter.com" it just takes me to a page where I can download the browser.

To dissent I have to press the little D-icon in the black bar at the top, but it only opens a very small window.

How do I get to the page that looks like dissenter.com's index-page used to look?

It could just be that I am on a mobile browser but I am not seeing the option to change my profile image in ‘MyProfile’.

Anyone else have the same issue or am I looking in the wrong spot?
