This is crazy, and the fact is most people don't catch this disease, in fact it's not at the Plague Record of 1/3rd. Most people survive it, the press won't tell us this, nor the politicians who want to spend everyone's one's money on needless shut downs (in most cases) that don't need to happen. Most hospitality, even eating in offer distance across tables. Smart people know they are at risk, stay home. Sick days exist. Government has a way to make the disease look good in comparison. The massively negative press included.
