Hey, you want to live the life of a soldier of fortune, of a private contract mercenary, and you are NOT a citizen of the nation in which you are fighting, per the Geneva Convention, you cannot be a POW. They were not part of the Ukraine MIL, were not Ukrainian. There is no GC provision except that they are foreign hostile combatants under Russian law.
