Luke Whitehouse, 34, and Lachlan Mantell, 37, were told by the owners of their desired property Luke Main, 33, and his wife Dr Joanna Main, 34, that they wouldn't sell to 'two men in a partnership'.

What's the problem? All private citizens have the manifest right to decide to whom they wish to sell their own private property. It doesn't matter if it's a teacup or a house. The government doesn't have the power to impugn the motives of any private sales. When we complain about government intrusion into private life, this is a good example of what we mean.
